It’s more than a slogan, it’s a commitment. We started this company to support organizations that make our world a safer, healthier and happier place. It is our fervent belief that the needs of organizations like yours, driven by mission and purpose, deserve IT solutions that are robust, cost-effective, and fully functional. The promise of technology to advance the human cause has been illustrated time and again. If we can help mission-driven organizations make the most out of their IT spending, we believe we can play a small part in moving your mission forward. That is what drives us!
We also approach IT a little differently. We provide complete solutions and take ownership of the end result. We don’t waste time finger-pointing and blame-gaming. We make IT work by helping you develop solutions that solve problems. Then we hold everyone accountable, from the PC manufacturer to the Internet provider, to make sure your systems are available when you need them. That makes us a little bit different.
Founded in Chicago
The West Side of Chicago has a deep and rich history. It was the home of the industrial giant Sears, Roebuck & Co (now referred to as the Amazon.com of it’s day). It was where the Blues and Jazz clubs entertained and delighted generations of Chicagoans.
Today it still holds that history and still has that capacity. We chose the West Side of Chicago as our home because we too have a mission. We want to be a part of the rebirth and reemergence that is happening all across the underserved communities in this City. We believe the West Side is where we can best make that impact.
Developing Home-grown Talent
We have partnered with several talent development organizations to help us build a highly-qualified team to meet the needs of mission-driven organizations across Chicagoland.
In the near future we will be announcing some of the partnerships and collaborations we have on-deck to help advance the careers of great people who live right here in Chicago; focused on the West Side neighborhoods.

A New Home, A Familiar Purpose
For over over 20 year I have worked in educational, healthcare, and non-profit organizations, helping them use technology to advance their ultimate cause. Now, I am embarking on a journey to help even more organizations through a new venture called Mission Driven IT.
Mission Driven organizations make our communities a happier, healthier, place to live!
We are building a a team that is purpose-built to support the unique needs of organizations that put mission first. In that endeavor we are also going to unlock the hidden potential of people in some of Chicago’s most underserved communities. It’s a win-win and I hope you will join us as we go down this road together.
